What is Minoxidil and how does it work?
Minoxidil is a drug usually prescribed for patients to manage high blood pressure.
We don’t know exactly how it helps with the hair growth, but some studies have
shown that in smaller doses, it increases the blood flow and supply of nutrients to
the hair roots which prolongs the growth phase of hair. It has also got protective
effects from certain hormones which are responsible for certain types of hair loss.
